Kodaline – Wherever You Are

Whoever you are, “Wherever You Are” is a good song by Kodaline
My interpretation of it, as a reprieve of someone who is lost and searching, and finds belonging in the presence of “wherever you are”… whoever you are.

It’ a love song about love, and the individual is nameless… as we all are except on social networks.
We need to connect with each other, with love in actions, and not just words.
Though hearing the words “I love you” is somewhat comforting, but I’m a coldhearted fool that doesn’t feel anything… so don’t believe me.

I’ll be feeling less the more I look at my past… cause it makes me feel sorry for myself… so many people left my life, and moved on in death and reality… and this song makes me want to move on too.
Jeez, I lack the empathy to feel anymore.

Someone Like You is a song rejoining my lost feelings… with someone like you, I have a long list with someones, that I lost.
I know where they are, but I lack the courage to face the truth of why they’re lost, thus making me lost too.
Belonging is a special feeling… I miss feeling that.

So this song is redeeming in that message… we all a need to belong.

This song is about a train ride through life… and its message is, it’s just a train ride, and don’t fret about it.
Though you need to adhere to ethical principles, if there is to be a peaceful world, and not the chaotic world that we have today.

We need to forgive, and less prejudicial seeds planted… and learn about each other… the truthful seeds that brings understanding into our lives.

So don’t twiddle your thumbs with planning and worrying, it will happen anyway, if it was meant to be.
Just enjoy your time here… you only live once… though if your Hindu you might live a thousands of times.
Faith is a tricky subject to me.

Just breathe, and be as happy as you can, without effecting other’s lives in a negative way.
I’m still learning to master that aspect of my life… empathy.
I’m just an insensitive fool.
