Pink Floyd – Another Brick in the Wall.

This was a good song
in 1979 when it came out.

But over the last 45 years, it has taken on a new meaning in my life… it’s part of the break up of Pink Floyd, and they went their separate ways, being sprayed with Graffiti into colorful little Bricks… but they are bricks of existence, just the same.

Bricks are all of us, in my views, and some us gather in political ideals, and mount on each other, to make an artistic section of the wall… such as music, video, text, writers, etc. .

Money builds the walls, where we exist, and uses the bricks, that they find from the rubbles we create from the wars of destruction.

At’s least my take on the song, there’s a lot more I’ve taken from the song, but I had to live the last 45 years to articulate the meanings, and I don’t have time for that.

You would fall asleep… cause it’s deep, and tedious to follow.

We are all bricks in the wall of society, some take on the colors of graffiti, and sparkle with attention stealing from the viewers, to make a point with a message of what they believe.

No one is more than any other brick. There are a few of the rubble pieces, that are left with scars physically and emotionally, that they offer no future building construction, except as an artistic piece with bright colors in the societal wall.

The “writings on the wall”, is a term I grew up with, it originated in the 5th Chapter of the Book of Daniel, where a hand wrote it on the wall(either supernaturally, or by some party goer), and Daniel interpreted it.

“mene, mene, tekel, parsin
“Here is what these words mean:
Mene: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.
Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.
Peres: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.””

That night he(King Belshazzar) was slain, and Darius and Mede took over the kingdom.

I just checked it, I remember reading that in the bible, but it went on the back burner of my memories… I’m not that smart. I grew up in Catholic school, but I didn’t read the Bible, till I was 20-21 years old.

What’s the point of Catholicism, and an education… it’s one of the strings, that make up the ball of yarn of Earth.

I would like to close this writing on “Another Brick in the Wall”. We don’t need another teacher to carry on the programming us to be robots, and gain the godhood status, which is another FB(Meta) post that determines our lives.
Where it’s another wall with colorful memories/dramas, the way we like to see them, on another wall/monitor screen.
Where we are the graffiti artists, that write on the societal walls separating nations/rooms, that makeup the mansion called Earth.

We should be proud of all of our lives, no matter the phoniness in our minds, and what we post there, cause someone will “Like” it, with whatever emoticon they choose.

It’s the FB experience, that branched off into other social sites, which branched off of the social networking sites in the 70’s and 80’s, before the WWW was born in the 90’s.

We are all Bricks in the wall of society, and political parties, and national corporate parties, are the graffiti artists, as well as weird individuals, as myself too.

We all take part in the writings, either as a blog writer, or steal something from another poster to write upon, as your form of graffiti, with a slight modification of a brighter color.

We are all writers on the wall, no matter the graffiti, you use or steal, it’s your view… and TEACHER we don’t need an education… or another view, it is programming… it’s a fact of life, C’set la vie.

But it was designed as a wall, where we could grab hold of in our descent, or ascent… it depends on where you are going.
