I survived my 1st DoS Attack

— I survived my 1st DoS Attack —

Or maybe it was my second, I began looking at the security side of WordPress authoring, when I was attacked last year around the time SONY was attacked.

To get to why I’m writing this post, Don’t trust the plugins, you need to be up on the authoring and trusting… if it don’t work, then do it yourself.

“Trust thyself: every heart vibrates to that iron string.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self-Reliance

The perfect world you would be able to trust everyone, that no malice would attack you, but in this world full of wars virtual and real world, that is not possible.

I found the plugin in question to be Youtube Channel Gallery and YouTube SimpleGallery, the authors of these plugins are not to blame, or maybe they are, but I got rid of them, and I have my site back without errors.

I got rid of Youtube Channel Gallery first, and cleared up the attack, but there was a couple of errors with certain plugins, and then I got rid of YouTube SimpleGallery all the other plugins worked after that, and the errors were gone.

I had to get a new API from Youtube and the traffic went to normal, or somewhere seeming reasonable. I don’t know coding and programming, nor do I want to learn about it. I had enough of this life, I have to twist my arm to get out of bed in the morning.

Fighting depression is a chore to say the least… not to get into whining about self pity, but that’s what solitude does… whine whine whine

The road to self assurance is a long hard road, it’s filled with downfalls and uphills… making it a rough road… I would like to visit utopia and mark my way there, so that I could find it again.

Pride makes it only a lonely sorrow…

Quotes about sorrow

“Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad.”
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
