— Delusions or Futuristic Ideas? —
Math is the key of modern society, and mathematicians are the designers of great things, such as the marvels you see on computer screens. You don’t understand them, but without math you would see a blank screen, or no screen. Even mathematicians are delusional at sometimes, or questioned for their delusional thinking, I’m sure Einstein was thought of as delusional many times in his early career. | John Nash on Delusional Thinking |
I’ve been called delusional by sane people, but when I was right, they excused me as a lucky thought.
I’m delusional, as everybody is at sometimes in their lives, be it despair or paranoia, you are left thinking delusional things, and what you sum up from your delusional things is what will be your destination.
I’ve tried to make friends yesterday on FB, I made a lot of friend requests, and I got one back right away. So I’m left with my delusional thinking on why not did I hear back from others. It’s probably no one goes on everyday, in fact I haven’t gone on today at all, and I’m back in my delusional mood that I was in a couple of months ago. Delusional could be referred to as living in denial, which we all are guilty of at some time in our lives.
I’m as sick, as I wish you see yourselves as, it’s a weakness, but admitting it is a strength too. Those who choose not to be seen as weak, I look at as the weakest of humans. They need pride crutches to walk through this life with waving a flag, as the terrorists do and the phony patriots do too.
I’m having the delusional blues tonight. |
It takes a long way to swim to get through this sea of loneliness. I’m swimming and getting cramps, so I stop swimming and start to sink and I have to tread water, but they agitate the cramps again, I feel like sinking and drowning. Then I hear the delusional voice again, “Don’t Give Up”, so I start swimming again, and the pain of the cramps get worse where they paralyze me even more, then I am.
So I’m left with the loneliness in pain and have a goal, and you wonder why I have the blues.
I’m fighting the delusions alone too, so you are not alone in this quest. We all have questions that we want answers to, your questions and answers are different from mine. You may have similar questions, but my answers are not your answers.

There are different types of delusional disorder based on the main theme of the delusions experienced. The types of delusional disorder include:
Erotomanic — Someone with this type of delusional disorder believes that another person, often someone important or famous, is in love with him or her. The person might attempt to contact the object of the delusion, and stalking behavior is not uncommon.
Grandiose — A person with this type of delusional disorder has an over-inflated sense of worth, power, knowledge, or identity. The person might believe he or she has a great talent or has made an important discovery.
Jealous — A person with this type of delusional disorder believes that his or her spouse or sexual partner is unfaithful.
Persecutory — People with this type of delusional disorder believe that they (or someone close to them) are being mistreated, or that someone is spying on them or planning to harm them. It is not uncommon for people with this type of delusional disorder to make repeated complaints to legal authorities.
Somatic — A person with this type of delusional disorder believes that he or she has a physical defect or medical problem.
Mixed — People with this type of delusional disorder have two or more of the types of delusions listed above.
I’ve been guilty of all of these disorders at sometime in my life, but once I became aware of it, I dispelled them from my life. They hang around like flies and annoy me, but they’re not a part of me.
Delusions are like pests to me, but I’m aware of them. Knowing them is not living in denial, but fighting them to find a cure. Sometimes, you have to seek out the delusions, or you don’t understand they’re delusions, you think they’re true, but they’re not.
So don’t be afraid of being seen as delusional, cause many great inventions were thought to be delusional at first, but once they were made, they became a staple in the modern life.
Delusion could bring pain, or it could bring hope, it all depends on your frame of mind and your stamina to bring it to fruition. If it’s good in your mind, then it will be a welcome addition to society, but if it’s bad in your mind then it will bring pain and bitterness to the society.
I hope it’s good in your mind, we need more good in this world.
We already have enough bad, indifference, unemployment, politics, distorted religions, etc., we need more good and stable footing where we could lay our feet, and stand strong.
Have good delusions, cause they pave the way to the future…there were so many delusional people that gave us the many modern inventions of this world, that we would be lost without, and that we take for granted.
