2Rains – Drip Drip
This song is one that I had a hard time writing, it was another song me and Mike wrote in Alaska around 1997.
It’s about lack of inspiration… where inspiration, comes in drips, and not raging like a river.
Patience is the key to finding your roots, and the purpose of your lives.
Many times you look for the quick answer, only proving to be the cheaper answer. Where you save a buck by cutting the costs, you pay in the end eventually. What you cut, becomes a debt. It’s the curse of capitalism, you have to maintain your wealth.
Love is the capital in my world… at least it’s what Jesus said it would be.
I’m a Christian… I’m more of a spiritual Christian… I would rather follow the Holy Spirit, instead of sacraments and traditions.
I’m not anti religions, but they push me over the edge too… like politics. I like my freedoms, however delusional they are. Love is giving when I feel it, not when I’m told to with junk mail.
Patience is the key to happiness… you just have to keep it in your hands, and not lose it in rages.
